Highlands Kids

Highlands Kids Ministry creates a loving and safe environment for children newborn through age 12 to learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with God.

“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Luke 18:15-17

Highlands Kids Ministry creates a loving and safe environment for children newborn through age 12 to learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with God. (See Highlands Youth for information on classes for our older children.)

On Sundays, classes start after praise and worship around 10:45 a.m. and on Wednesdays around 6:30 p.m. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary with a dismissal sign on the screen. On the last Sunday of each month, “Big Family Sunday,” children remain with the family for worship and communion.

Highlands Kids classes are provided in three classrooms on Sundays and two on Wednesdays.

If you would like to volunteer to serve in the Highlands Kids department, parents and/or guardians simply fill out an application form at our Highlands Kids’ welcome desk. You can fill it out ahead of time by the adult application here, teen application here.

Highlands Kids Ministry takes your child’s safety and security very seriously. All teachers and volunteers have passed background checks, and there is a strict check-in and check-out system in place.
