The National Day of Prayer is tomorrow, Thursday, May 7th, at 12 pm at the Fentress County Courthouse. This year is the 75th Anniversary, and we’d like to make it special by showcasing the unity of the body of Christ! We invite our Highlands family to join us as we pray over our schools, community, businesses, military, government, and churches. 

Please join us for a special Mother’s Day at Highlands this Sunday, May 10th! If your child would like to help serve breakfast, please have him/her in the Cafe at 9:15 am. We will also have a gift and photo area available for families to enjoy!

Anyone who is able is invited to prepare a meal for our sister Joyce Deweese. She just had hip replacement surgery, and would appreciate any help we can bless her with! A meal train has been set up so you can reserve a day and get info on dietary needs. https://www.mealtrain.com/trains/meok39

If you are interested in being part of a study group, please stay after service this Wednesday or Sunday for a quick meeting in the Cafe to poll people’s interests.

Looking to get fit and have fun? Highlands has a Fitness Group that gathers every Tuesday and Thursday at 5 pm in HK3. Participants exercise to a walking video that you can adapt to your pace. April 29th – May 6th  Announcements

Sunday evening’s Highlands Men’s Get Together was a great success! Thank you to the Foster family for preparing food, and to all the men who came out, brought food, and fellowshipped with one another! 

NOTE: Highlands Youth will meet THIS Wednesday, April 29th, after worship. Youth will now be meeting every other Wednesday during service. See Amber Carl with any questions!

There will be a FREE concert featuring two Christian bands – Love and the Outcome and Consumed by Fire performing this Saturday, May 2nd in downtown Jamestown (part of the All Things Tennessee Festival). They are performing behind the Fentress County Courthouse at 6:30pm! Make plans to join us there!

A special THANK YOU to Levi and Sylvia Miller for taking time over the past couple of weeks to repair our roof! Our church family is always so willing to help take care of the Father’s house and we are so thankful!

Sign In & Dismissal – Parents, we’d love your help! Please try to check in your kids before 10:00 AM on Sundays and 6:00 PM on Wednesdays. Also, wait to take them to class until Highlands Kids are officially dismissed from the Sanctuary. This gives our teachers time to get to their rooms and be ready to welcome your little ones. Moms and Dads – note that children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult when using the restroom. The well-being and safety of your children is our greatest responsibility!

You’re Invited to Holy Week 2026 – Area churches are once again uniting to celebrate Holy Week each weekday from noon to 1 pm. A different pastor will deliver the message at noon, and their church will serve lunch at the Jamestown Methodist Church. Pastor Jason will be speaking on Wednesday, April 1st, and Highlands Church will be providing lunch that day as well. Thank you to the volunteers who signed up to provide desserts and drinks. If you are able, be sure to attend every day for a great Word, food, and fellowship.

Don’t miss celebrating Resurrection Day this Sunday at Highlands Church! We will enjoy beautiful praise music, performances from our Highlands Kids, an amazing message, baby dedications, and Holy Communion.

March 25th – April 1st Announcements

LADIES’ ROOM RENOVATION UPDATE – The new and improved Ladies’ Room is open! Among the improvements are new counters, sinks, fixtures, mirrors, and a new floor. We still have some finishing touches to make, but thank you all for your patience as we renovated this space. Just a heads up, the changing station area is safe to use now, but will soon be fully finished. We hope you enjoy!
