Operation Christmas Child – Thank you to everyone who participated in our Highlands Kids OCC Coin Collection! Ms. Carol will be doing some pre-packing work on Tuesday, November 11th, at 12:00 PM for anyone who’d like to help. Packing Day is scheduled for Sunday, November 23rd (after church) — last year we packed over 1,000 boxes in less than an hour! How many do you think we’ll pack this year? Join us and be part of this amazing outreach.
The HK Bazaar is coming up THIS Saturday, November 1st, from 11 am to 4 pm! Silent Auction items are set up for early bids. Don’t miss the opportunity to purchase unique gifts and support local vendors and our Highlands Kids!
Preorder your Sweet Potato Pies! Fresh homemade sweet potato pies will be available in early November, just in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday! $12 for one pie, or two for $20. See the sign-up sheet in the foyer. Proceeds will benefit our Highlands Kids.
Join us for our Annual Church Thanksgiving Dinner on Wednesday, November 19th! The church will be providing turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, and rolls. We invite everyone to bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share.
We also need a few helping hands for cleanup after the meal. If you’re able to help or would like to sign up to bring a dish, please see the sign-up sheet in the lobby. Let’s come together in gratitude and fellowship as we celebrate this season of thankfulness!
Special Performance: The Centre School of Dance from Cookeville will share the illustrated sermon, “In Every Season,” during our November 2nd service. (Communion will be rescheduled to November 9th.)
Ages 15-20, Submit your Expedition Apps Now for January. Walk to Grace is now accepting applications to Chrysalis, which is now called The Expedition. Walk to Grace is for teens ages 15 through age 20, and will be held Thursday-Saturday, January 1st-3rd, in Crossville. We will also need sponsors for them from those who have attended Emmaus/Chrysalis in the past. Contact Timmy King or Lisa Roysden for more information.
Teens are invited to join the Highlands Youth Group, which meets every other Sunday immediately after service. The group reviews teachings, enjoys fellowship, and participates in various activities. Reach out to Amber Carl for more information.

Indoor Fitness Class – Ms Angie Robbins’ indoor fitness class will now be meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5 pm. This low-impact exercise class follows a video walking routine. We need YOU! – We are currently looking for volunteers across all of our ministries here at Highlands, but our GREATEST NEEDS are in Highlands Kids, our Greeting Team, Sound Media and Lighting and on our Parking Team. If you have a heart for children or a friendly smile to welcome guests, we’d love to have you serve with us. Your time and willingness can make a BIG impact on the Kingdom! There are sign-up sheets in the foyer, but feel free to ask Seth, Diana, or any leader to learn more!

Highlands Kids:
Sign In & Dismissal – Parents, we’d love your help! Please try to check in your kids before 10:00 AM on Sundays and 6:00 PM on Wednesdays. Also, wait to take them to class until Highlands Kids are officially dismissed from the Sanctuary. This gives our teachers time to get to their rooms and be ready to welcome your little ones. Thanks so much!
Moms and Dads – note that children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult when using the restroom. The well-being and safety of your children is our greatest responsibility!

HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13 through 12th grade): Our youth meet every other Sunday, immediately after church. Watch announcements for weekly details and updates!
HIGHLANDS KIDS CHURCH (12 years and under): Children’s Church is available on Sundays & Wednesdays. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary after Worship. Please ensure your child/children are with you when they’re not in class. Children may not play on the playground without adult supervision. Thank you!
