HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13 through 12th grade): On Wednesdays, we meet immediately after worship in the HK3 classroom.

HIGHLANDS KIDS CHURCH (12 years and under): Children’s Church is available on Sundays & Wednesdays. Children are dismissed from the sanctuary after Worship.

COMMUNITY GROUPS:  We have many different Community Groups within Highlands that meet on a weekly/monthly basis. We’d love it if you’d join one or host one! Please talk with Diana Douglass and visit www.highlandschurchtn.org for more information!

Join our community for National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2nd at 12 noon at the Fentress Co. Courthouse.

HK COOKBOOK RECIPES (NEW deadline…extended!)

We know Highlands has some amazing cooks and everyone loves to eat! With that in mind, we are excited to announce that we are working to create a Highlands Kids (HK) Cookbook! We would love to have your favorite recipes!  Anything from your go-to meal, tastiest dessert, comfort food, if you love it, we want it! Please submit recipes to hkcookbooks2024@gmail.com by AUGUST 11th!

2024 GRADUATES May 19th

If you or your child will be graduating from 8th grade, high school, college, or receiving a higher education degree/certification and Highlands is your home church, please let us know on the sign-up sheet in our foyer. We will honor our graduates and pray for them on May 19th.

JUNE

YARD SALE/BAKE SALEJune 15th

CUMBERLAND G.A.P. (God Answers Prayer): Our teens will participate in 

community service projects throughout our county from June 23rd to June 28th. A HUGE “thank you!” to all who have given! As we get closer to mid-June, we will begin collecting healthy snacks, water, and drinks for the workers. 

PROJECT BIBLE RUNNERS
Wednesday PM Service, June 26th, come listen to amazing testimonies from 

some of the hardest-to-reach places in the world! Help us gather Bibles for those

FIREWORKS, FOOD, & FELLOWSHIP

Saturday, June 29th, 6pm, plan on an evening of fun, food, fellowship, and fireworks from the Highlands Pavilion! Bring a dish to share (potluck time!). We have a great view of the Fentress County Fair fireworks from our parking lot (they’ll begin at dark…approx. 9 pm CT).

AUGUST

RIVER BAPTISM

We will have a special baptism at the Wolf River on Sunday, August 18th, 3pm. Join us at York Park, 2609 North York Hwy, Pall Mall. Bring a dessert to share if you would like! We’ll share refreshing beverages and desserts, as we fellowship together after baptism wraps up!  

We WILL have our 10am Sunday morning celebration at HCOTC that day as well! Hope to see you for both! 

HANDS, FEET, AND HEARTS NEEDED: 

SIGN UP TO SERVE:  We currently have several ways for you to get involved at Highlands. Sign-up sheets are on the information table for the following areas:  Parking CrewGreeters, and Cafe. The fellowship is wonderful! 

HK TEAM OPPORTUNITIES: We need HK teachers & volunteers! Highlands Kids just keeps growing, praise God! You’ll find applications/signups at the HK welcome desk.

HOSPITALITY: Please watch announcements for future hospitality/meal train links as needs within our body arise. 

O.C.C. (Operation Christmas Child): Let’s step into May by thinking about O.C.C. Look for all those winter and spring clearance items like hats, gloves, socks, and undergarments. Also if you want to help with O.C.C., please get in touch with Carol Watson.
