WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. The cafe will be open at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. Wednesday worship starts at 6:00 p.m. Dinner every Wed at 5 pm.

*TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Please respect individuals’ quiet prayer time and reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary. 

PLAYGROUND: Please make sure when playing on the Highlands playground you always have an adult present. Enjoy!

Operation Christmas Child UPDATE:  THIS SUNDAY, the HK crew is having a special change collection for OCC. Bring your extra change! Also, we are in need of yo-yos; erasers;  brown or black socks for boys or girls, size 8/10; and flip-flops for boys or girls, size 8/10. We want to thank all who donate each year! 

DEVOTIONALS NEEDED FOR PRISON MINISTRY: Viki Rogers is ministering to incarcerated women and is allowed to give out devotionals (they must NOT have ANY STAPLES). If you have any to donate or can purchase any, please give them to Viki or Timmy. 

FALL FEST: There will be no HCOTC Fall Family Fun Fest for 2023 due to schedule conflicts. However, there is an opportunity to minister in a similar way! South Fentress Park is hosting a Fall Fest and inviting churches, community groups, and individuals to participate! “UNITED THROUGH CHRIST WE PRAY” launches SOON:  UTCWP has been birthed by individuals who want to see this community come together to pray, as one body, unified by Jesus! The first event will be held Tuesday, October 24th, 6pm, at the historic Fentress Co. Courthouse, 101 N. Main St. Jamestown. Scott Bow will be officiating this first event, with other churches encouraged/invited to officiate the following events. It will be outside weather permitting, but indoors if weather is inclement. Let us come together as ONE body and honor the Father. 

HK FUNDRAISER, Thursday, October 19th, 6pm-8pm, PAINT PARTY: Kick off this beautiful season with a FUNdraiser to help with the Highlands kids’ room. Fliers for this paint party are in the foyer, on our website, and Facebook page. Come for fellowship and fun and leave with a beautiful painting. Price is $40 with $10 going back to the HK fund.

HK CHRISTMAS BAZAAR, DEC. 2ND:  This bazaar is an HK fundraiser event to showcase all your baked goods, crafts, quilts, or any other handmade items. We have two options for table rentals, $30 for a small table or $55 for large tables. Money is due by November 19th. A sign-up sheet is in the foyer. HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS (ages 13-19): We meet each Wed., immediately after worship/announcement in HK3 classroom.
