CHRYSALIS LETTERS: It’s almost time for our 9 Highlanders to head to Chrysalis! Please grab one of the sheets with their names, for reference, and write your letters! You may drop them in the box (on the table outside sanctuary) when finished! And please pray for these students.
HCOTC YARD SALE June 2nd and 3rd: We are having our yard sale THISFriday, June 2nd, and Saturday, June 3rd. Bring your items ASAP. Please, NO CLOTHING! Contact persons are Stephen Presley and/or Allan Kirsch (Allan: 931-310-4657).
CUMBERLAND G.A.P. UPDATES (God Answers Prayer): Please PRAY over this special week of service and fellowship, over ALL workers, and homeowners.
WAYS to SERVE:
- Adult volunteers are needed to work at the job sites (people’s homes).*
- Donations of food, drinks, and snacks are needed (lots of bottled waters, teas, electrolyte drinks, fruit, pretzels, homemade snacks, granola bars, snack mixes, cookies, etc). Food/drink donations may be brought to HCOTC June 4th through June 23rd (please mark them “GAP”).
- Volunteers needed to make sandwiches (contact Elaine Seymour, 931-510-3880).*
- Volunteers needed to deliver lunches to workers at worksites Mon-Fri (this includes taking lunch for homeowners, visiting with them, praying over lunch, etc).*

MONUMENTAL, HCOTC VBS: Save the date and get registered for our upcoming VBS, July 17th-21st! Whether you’re a parent eager to sign up your littles, or one of our awesome volunteers…you’ll find the easy-to-complete form at the link here, HCOTC VBS 2023!
GREETERS: We want to add some new faces/hearts/hands. If you love to smile, say a kind word, WE need you! There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. Thank you!
OCC (Operation Christmas Child): Summer is here! We can use flip-flops and any hair supplies (ties, combs, brushes, etc.). We want to thank all who donate each year!
HIGHLANDERS MEN’S GROUP: The next Men’s group is TBD. We will keep you posted.
HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS: We meet each Wed., immediately after worship/announcements, in the cafe. Spread the word! This is for ages 13 through 19. (Youth will be in the sanctuary June 7th.)

PRAYER REQUESTS (or something to share): If you have a prayer request for the prayer team, a death in your family, a testimony, encouraging word, or an announcement to share, please send them to highlandscotc@gmail.com. If the prayer request concerns anyone other than yourself, please ensure you have that person’s permission before sharing.
WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. The cafe will be open at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. Wednesday worship starts at 6:00 p.m. Dinner every Wed at 5 pm.
*TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sundays, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Please respect individuals’ quiet prayer time and reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary.
