*TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., and on Sundays, from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Please respect individuals’ quiet prayer time and reserve conversations outside the sanctuary.
HK DISMISSAL: Highlands Kids families, please know that the HK team will be in classrooms on Sundays at 11:00 and Wednesdays at 7:00 if there hasn’t been a dismissal screen due to extended worship time.
HK DEPARTMENT: HK WILL BE CLOSED WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22ND. Thank you to those who have committed to joining the team and helping. We have a great need for lead teachers for both Wednesdays and Sundays.
COMPASSION FOOD GIVEAWAY: This Saturday, March 25th, Compassion Ministries will be offering a free food distribution at the Fentress Co. Fairgrounds. If you are able to volunteer, please arrive by 9 a.m. If you are in need of food, the distribution will begin at 10 a.m. and you will need to be in line ready to receive your food boxes.
PUTTING PRAYERS INTO ACTION MINISTRY: This ministry is coming to Highlands, April 5th from 4-6 p.m. Their purpose is to bless children in need throughout the Appalachian region. Free food, clothes, and toys will be given away.
HOLY-WEEK SERVICES: April 3rd-April 7th, Come join us as we gather from 12 noon to 1 p.m. daily at Jamestown First United Methodist, 102 Church St: for worship, Word, and food. HCOTC will be handling the Wednesday service at JFUMC. Food details: pinto beans with all the extras. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.

HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS: We meet each Wed., immediately after worship/announcements, in the cafe. Spread the word! This is for ages 13 through 19.

UPDATED DATES for HIGHLANDERS MEN’S GROUP: As of now, the men’s gathering meets the FIRST and THIRD Friday of each month. We are interested in changing the days in which we meet. Please come to the next meeting so we may decide together.
