NO Wednesday service Oct. 12th due to Fall Break in Fentress Co. 

HIGHLANDERS STUDENTS: We meet each Wed., immediately after worship/announcements, in the cafe. Spread the word! This is for our high school-aged students (approx. age 13 through high school graduation). (No youth on Oct. 12th.)

COMMUNITY GROUPS: Don’t miss our Community Group informational tables. 

HIGHLANDS CARE GROUP: HCG (new community group!) will be helping folks with laundry (and praying with them) on Sunday, Oct. 16th at the Laundromat from 2-4 pm. HCG welcomes your assistance! See Seth Vaughn for additional details.

ARK ENCOUNTER: Our day trip to The Ark Encounter is Sat. Oct. 22nd; we will leave HCOTC at 4:30 a.m. CT. All Ark tickets have been finalized and we’re unable to make changes. We have some seats left on the bus…if anyone that has ALREADY paid for an Ark ticket would like to ride on the bus, please let Marcia know asap. 

APOLLO LTD in Concert, Oct. 28th to kick off HCOTC FALL FAMILY FUN FEST WEEKEND: Don’t miss this HUGE weekend, Oct. 28th through the 30th! Friday, Oct. 28th, join us at 7 p.m. for Apollo LTD (doors open at 6 p.m.)! Saturday, Oct. 29th, Fall Family Fun Fest is happening, at 5 p.m. (food, candy, games, fellowship)! And on Sunday, Oct 30th, we are so excited to worship with our Highlands Kids as they lead our entire Sunday service! This is a weekend you will not want to miss! 

FALL FAMILY FALL FEST: Sign up for your themed table! Must be fall-related and church-appropriate. It is so much fun to give to the community.

HIGHLANDS KIDS to LEAD SERVICE, Sun., Oct. 30TH: Don’t miss this awesome service!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We have a few people needing a ride to church on Wednesdays and Sundays. You would truly be a blessing. If interested, please contact Marcia at the office, 931-879-6177.

BUILDING FUND: Please remember to prayerfully consider what you would like to give toward our building payoff. Specially marked envelopes are in the sanctuary. Thank you so much! And a HUGE “Thank you!” to those that have already given!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: Grab those flip-flops, soaps, washcloths, bandaids, and nylon bath puffs.  Don’t forget school supplies like sharpeners and little notebooks. Also, please consider purchasing reusable personal hygiene products for older girls. Thank you!

PRAYER REQUESTS (or something to share): If you have a prayer request for the prayer team, a death in your family, a testimony, encouraging word, or an announcement to share, please send them to highlandscotc@gmail.com. If the prayer request is about anyone other than yourself, please ensure you have that person’s permission before sharing.

WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. The cafe will be open at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. Wednesday worship starts at 6:00 p.m.(NO Wed. activities Oct. 12th.)

TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.  Please respect individuals’ quiet time of prayer and reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary. (NO Wed. activities Oct.12th.)
