CREATION WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY, 6 p.m.: Dr. Glenn Wilson’s weekly study on creation is underway!  Bring your notebooks. It is a wonderful time to learn and grow!

ARK ENCOUNTER: We are planning a DAY trip to The Ark Encounter(Oct. 22nd is the tentative date). Please put your name (and the names of those in your party) on the appropriate sign-up sheet ASAP. You may visit the link above to see group rate pricing for tickets. There is also a special educational/student rate for our students, their parents/siblings, and our HK leaders. We are chartering a bus that will accommodate 56 (approx. $20 per person). Again, bus seating is limited, so sign-up quickly to ensure a spot. Date-confirmation and time details will be released in full soon! 

CHURCH at the FAIR: Don’t miss our next community unity event, Fentress County Fairgrounds, Wed., Aug. 24th, 6:30 p.m

AMERICAN HERITAGE GIRLS, TUESDAY, AUGUST 30TH, 5:30 -7 PM: American Heritage Girls will kick off their new season right here at Highlands Church! This will be an informational meeting for parents, while the girls may participate in games and crafts. Please call Heidi, at 360-888-4583, for more information. We also need Christ-loving women to help with this very special program. If you are interested in volunteering, please also reach out to Heidi!  

Sept. 18th, HCOTC 15TH ANNIVERSARY: Don’t miss our 15th anniversary as a church, Sept. 18th! We will have breakfast at 9 a.m. Our celebration in the sanctuary will begin at 10 a.m…The Centre Companies will be with us!  Plan to stay after to celebrate with cake and fellowship! 

WED. DINNER REMINDER: Wednesday night dinner is happening on Aug. 31st.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We have a few people needing a ride to church on Wednesdays and Sundays. You would truly be a blessing. If interested, please contact Marcia at the office, at 931-879-6177.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: August is well underway! Grab those clearance flip-flops, soaps, washcloths, and nylon bath puffs.  Don’t forget those school supplies as well. Paper, pencils, sharpeners, and notebook paper. Also, please consider purchasing reusable personal hygiene products for older girls. Thank you!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY: Don’t miss Celebrate Recovery each Sunday, 5 p.m., at Manna House (please notice the location change!). If you aren’t familiar with this incredible recovery group, please contact Billy Webb for additional information.

WORSHIP/WORD:  Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m.  The cafe will be open at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday.  Wednesday Family Night Live starts at 6:00 p.m. Every LAST Wed. of the month, join us for dinner at 5 p.m.

TIME OF PRAYER:  Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.  Please respect individuals’ quiet time of prayer and reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary.
