THIS SUNDAY EVENING, April 24th, 6 p.m., CENTERED DANCE COMPANIES: The Centre School of Dance will be with us on Sunday night, April 24th, at 6 p.m. You won’t want to miss this very special night of worship and dance as we welcome Centered Companies!
MANNA HOUSE MIRACLE MAY: Get ready for the Miracle May Manna House bake sale and open house, Saturday, May 7th. All Highland bakers are invited to bring their masterpieces to Manna House by 10 am, already marked with a price. Let’s break the $1500 tally from last year!
CHURCH YARD SALE: SATURDAY MAY, 14TH, Are you spring cleaning and want to get rid of some things? Bring us your gently used items of all kinds. We will need some help the day before to sort and tag things and of course the day of the sale. We will also be having a bake sale. If you are baking something for the sale please have it marked with a price. There will be a sign-up sheet on the information table for the bake sale and one to help out.
BUILDING FUND: Please remember to prayerfully consider what you would like to give toward our building payoff. Specially marked envelopes are in the sanctuary. Thank you so much! And a HUGE “Thank you!” to those that have already given!
HOSPITALITY: We need faithful men and women to assist with our hospitality ministry. The ministry areas include cooking and delivering meals occasionally, and/or prepping meals, and canning/freezing them for future use. If you are able to prepare meals for future use, please do so and drop them by the church Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Sundays. If you’re able to be on “standby” to make and take meals, please sign up! See Marcia with questions.
GAP for our Highlanders Youth AND adults (those entering 8th grade in the fall through college students/2022 grads): June 26th – July 1st; we are participating in Cumberland G.A.P this summer (hosted by First Baptist, Jamestown)! GAP is a faith-based, mission, work camp for youth and adults, assisting disabled homeowners with home improvements (in our local area). The “early bird’ registration fee is $75 per person. A non-refundable fee of $25 must accompany your registration form by May 1st. The $50 balance should be paid by June 1st. This fee helps to cover all materials, meals, and shirt. Registration fees received after June 1st will be $100. If you would like to sponsor a young person or have questions, please see Larissa. Sign up at the info table ASAP! And a huge “THANK YOU” to the sponsors that have already stepped up to help!
HONORING 2022 GRADUATES: If you have a student that is graduating from elementary school (8th grade), high school, or college and they’re part of the Highlands family, please let us know by putting their name and grade on our sign-up sheet at the info table. We would like to acknowledge and pray for them Sunday, May 1st.

WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. The cafe will be open at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday. Wednesday Family Night Live starts at 6:00 p.m. Every LAST Wed. of the month, join us for dinner at 5 p.m. and breakout sessions in the sanctuary at 6!
TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Please respect individuals’ quiet time of prayer and reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary.
WED. DINNER REMINDER: Wednesday night dinner happens on the LAST Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. Our next Wednesday evening meal is Wed., April 27th.
