HARVESTING PRAISE, THIS WEEKEND, Nov. 12 & 13, FBC: This is a YOUTH (7th-12th grades) event that is hosted by First Baptist Church, Jamestown (306 East Central Ave.), on Friday, Nov. 12 & Saturday, Nov. 13. Registration begins Friday at 4 p.m. (event ends at 8 p.m.). Saturday breakfast begins at 10 a.m., with lots of fun and ministry to follow (ends at approx. 8:30 p.m.)! Highlands will be leading worship Fri. & Sat. and Pastor Jason is blessed to be speaking Sat. evening. Pray over this special weekend and let’s get our youth involved!!! And please, INVITE others!

THANKSGIVING DAY OUTREACH: We are partnering with the Methodist Church to provide Thanksgiving meals for our community. Please sign up and participate by purchasing frozen dressing for only $12.00. It will need to be baked and delivered to the Jamestown First United Methodist Church on Thanksgiving morning. See Marcia or John Wheeler to order or for additional information.Also, EXTRA hands are needed on Wednesday, Nov. 24th to help debone turkey and cut pies! GLOBAL WATER CENTER EVENT (volunteer info): Jeff & Margie MacFarland have invited HCOTC to volunteer in Nashville, TN with their ministry, Global Water Center (GWC Volunteer Info).EVENT: Nashville at Opry Mills, 433 Opry Mills Dr. The exhibit will be open Wednesday, 11/3 – Sunday, 11/7, 10 AM – 5 PM (last registration at 4 PM) and Wednesday, 11/10 – Saturday 11/13 same hours. Last day, Sunday, 11/14, 10 AM – 3 PM. We will be setting up on Sunday 10/31 – Tuesday 11/2 and breaking down Sunday 11/14 (starting at 3) through Tuesday 11/16. We would love to have everyone come out and volunteer during any portion of our visit to Nashville and of course, hope that everyone can come out to tour the exhibit.
