IMPORTANT CHOIR INFO: Our next choir practice will be THIS Wednesday, 5:15 p.m., before Family Night Live! We will then meet on Sunday, August 15th, beginning promptly at 9 a.m. We will also meet at Alive in the Spirit at 3:30 p.m. (same day) to practice our finale songs. Both Sunday practices are for our CommUNITY event at the fairgrounds (Aug. 18). Thank you for understanding that BOTH Sunday practices are mandatory (if you plan to sing on the 18th) as we are working on different songs at each.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: We are coming into the home stretch for OCC prep…don’t wait! NOW is the time to shop for those balls, small games, socks, jump ropes, small toys for boys and girls, pencil sharpeners, pencils, crayons, mini-notebooks, girls’ jewelry, etc.
CommUNITY EVENT: Wednesday, August 18th, 6:30 p.m. at the Fentress County Fairgrounds, we are having a community-wide worship service during fair week! Keep this awesome event in prayer and do be sure to come out and worship!
EMMAUS EVENT: Saturday, August 21st at 6 p.m., Highlands will host an Emmaus gathering! This special worship night is open to ALL (those that have participated in Emmaus previously and those that have never attended an event). Please come out and worship with us!

CAFE: Beverages and light snacks will be served 30 minutes before Sunday morning celebration. A light meal is served before Wednesday’s Family Night Live.(This Wed., Aug. 11th, we will have a meal immediately after church, rather than before service.)
WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Family Night Live starts at 6:00 p.m. You don’t want to miss either celebration!
TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary Wednesdays, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Please respect individuals’ quiet, contemplative time of prayer. Reserve conversations for outside the sanctuary. Thank you for being considerate of others.
