WORSHIP/WORD: Sunday worship starts at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday Worship starts at 6:00 p.m.
TIME OF PRAYER: Join us for prayer in the sanctuary this Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
HIGHLANDS KIDS: HK1 and HK3 will be open in February.
HIGHLANDS YOUTH: We are beginning our youth gathering again on Wednesday evenings (beginning this Wed., Feb. 3rd), immediately following worship. We will meet in the HK 3 classroom (through the cafe). Highlands Youth is for ages 13 through high school.
COMMUNITY GROUPS: Our Community Groups are ramping up. Be sure to check the board on the wall by the cafe for more information and to see which group you would like to participate in. Tiffany and Cindy, Manifesting the Power of God, Thursdays, 6:00 p.m.; Walt, Man Church, Living like John in a Peter World, study of Colossians, Mondays, 6:00 p.m.; Jeff and Chris, Lessons from a Sheep Dog, Thursdays, 6:00 p.m.; Pastor Tim and Tracy, New You in the Holy Spirit, Sundays, 6:00 p.m. More groups to be announced in the upcoming weeks.
JASON CRABB IS COMING TO JAMESTOWN: Jason Crabb will be ministering in song at Alive in the Spirit on Sat., Feb. 13th at
7 p.m. CT. Doors will open to the public at 6 p.m. If you are interested in participating in a community choir that will sing at the beginning of the event, please make plans to practice on Feb. 7th at 3 p.m. CT, at Alive in the Spirit. The choir is open to any believers that want to make a joyful noise and worship our King.
GIVING STATEMENTS: The 2020 giving statements are available. For those of you that have been unable to attend services, we have mailed your statement. For those attending, statements are in the office for pick up during office hours or after services. Thank you so much for your faithful support!
COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Throughout this New Year we are going to make an impact in our community for Christ. Our first outreach will be to bless the Fentress County Ambulance Service. We will be presenting their “basket” to them this Sunday following worship. Don’t miss being a part of our thank you to them for their service to our community!
SIGN UP TO SERVE: We have several opportunities for you to get involved here at Highlands. There are sign up sheets on the information table for the following areas: Praise Team/Musicians; Sound/Media/Lighting; Highlands Kids Department; Cafe. Sign up and join us in blessing Highlands Church of the Cumberlands with your service.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: You can join us for Sunday service and be comfortable in an area that has been designated for those who wish to practice social distancing. Our greeters will be happy to direct you to that section.
PRAYER REQUESTS: If you have any prayer requests for the prayer team (ie. death in your family, a testimony, a word, or any other announcements-pending approval), send them to highlandscotc@gmail.com. If the prayer request is pertaining to anyone other than yourself, please ensure you have that person’s permission prior to sharing.
