PRAY FOR OUR NATION: As our nation stands on a precipice of decision, believers want to pray and sometimes feel overwhelmed and/or at a loss for words. Dutch Sheets, Give Him 15 (GH15), gives daily direction in how to pray specifically, and is always encouraging. He helps one see that no enemy can stand before the fervent and effectual prayer of the righteous!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH: Throughout this New Year we are going to make an impact in our community for Christ. Our first outreach will be to bless the Fentress County Ambulance Service. We are collecting items for the 20 employees to give them a full basket of goodies at the end of this month. They can accept food items, books, games, “stress-relieving items” (stress balls, lotions, teas, etc.). Please bring your items to church during office hours or when you come for service on Wednesday and Sunday.
CAFE DECOR: It’s time to decorate for winter/Valentine’s. We are in the process of transforming the Cafe into a Valentine’s Day theme and need appropriate decorations. Pink, red and white hearts, heart wreaths, candies, centerpieces, etc., will all be appreciated. Get the kids involved and make hearts and cards for the trees.
SOCIAL DISTANCING: You can join us for Sunday service and be comfortable in an area that has been designated for those who wish to practice social distancing. Our greeters will be happy to direct you to the section.
HIGHLANDS KIDS: HK1 will be closed for the month of January due to the closeness required to care for little ones. HK3 will remain open for ages 4-12 years.
